We are looking for a System Infrastructure Engineer with experience in data centers to join a European Public Agency in Strasbourg, France. In this role, you will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment that fosters professional growth.

What will be your responsibilities?

Handling operational tasks related to compute and storage infrastructure (HPE).
Effective provisioning, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
Reviewing technology change records for readiness.
Administering and maintaining an existing local/global server infrastructure.
Automation/scripting (shell, Perl, PHP).
Participation in the Third Line rotation team, with 24/7 availability.
Providing advice and guidance on applications and technologies in the assigned area.
Managing the lifecycle of current technologies based on business value.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of HP hardware (servers, blades, and components).
Server hardware troubleshooting experience.
Scripting knowledge (Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell, Go, etc.).
Proficiency in orchestrating, automating, and configuring services (preferably Ansible or Terraform).

Desirable skills

Knowledge in Cisco Technologies
Knowledge in Vmware Technologies
ITIL knowledge • Teamwork and communication skills
Continuous Integration, Delivery & Deployments (Jenkins, GitOps, Argo CD)
Monitoring tools knowledge (Nagios – preferably -, Grafana, Prometheus)
DB knowledge (MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB and Postgre SQL)
DevOps knowledge
